要说真正的天价赔偿，还得说到2014年美国Target 公司。该公司因支付系统遭受黑客攻击，高达4000万笔信用卡、签帐卡资料外泄。许多发卡银行与消费者因Target的外泄事件蒙受大量换卡以及金融诈骗的损失，因而纷纷向Target提讼求偿。该事件涉及人数和范围巨大，直到2015年12月2日，Target 公司与由银行、信用组织发起的集体诉讼代表达成最新的一项和解，代价是偿付3936万美元的损失。同意赔偿银行和信用卡发卡机构3940万美元的损失。在此之前，Target已经同意赔偿Visa组织的发卡机构6700万美元的和解金，也与部分消费者达成总金额1000万美元的和解。而为了善后，Target表示光是这起资料外泄事件后新增的直接支出便已经达到2.9亿美元之多，而保险公司仅会理赔约9000万美元。截止到2015年12月，Target为此事赔偿的金额已接近3.3亿美元。

 我想大家都应该听说过这个案例，简单来说就是美国一个老太太在买咖啡的时候，不小心烫伤了自己，她就起诉麦当劳公司，说咖啡温度太高了，要求索赔286万美元，并且还赢了官司.
                                          
 我们正常在国内来讲，无论在哪里，不小心烫伤了自己，应该不至于去起诉哪个公司，但是这个发生在美国的案例胜诉了，下面我们来看一下这个案例.
  
 事情发生在1992年2月，美国新墨西哥州一位79岁高龄的老太太，名字叫Stella Liebeck，她外孙驾驶轿车带着她路过一家麦当劳快餐店时，通过驾驶销售窗口买了一杯咖啡，49美分.
